Like the waves spill onto the shore, layers of texture and color spill over each other at Casa de Oso, the waterfront Punta Mita mansion. Fully staffed estate boasts the amenities of a boutique hotel—all housed within gorgeously appointed rooms with details like parquet ceilings. Breathtaking spaces.
Host groups of friends, a family reunion or even a Mexico destination wedding in the villa’s outdoor living areas with the help of the lounging and dining areas, full-service bar, barbecue, and hot tub. Whether you are up for an active aquatic time or a relaxing floating time, there’s one infinity pool for swimming and a separate pool for volleyball, as well as a bocce court, surfboards and paddleboards. And that is only outside, inside, you’ll find a game room, bowling alley, and golf simulator for fun, plus a yoga area, spa, and home gym for wellness. Whatever you need for every mood, Casa de Oso has it.
Beyond the amenities, it’s the style of this vacation rental that truly gives it breathtaking luxury appeal. Texture on texture—tufted area rug on polished stone floor, gauzy drapes over floor-to-ceiling windows—gives a chic, layered look in the living and dining rooms. It even continues in the fully equipped kitchen, where a vaulted brick ceiling arches over stone and wood counters and cabinets. Not to mention the bathrooms are a dream with the different stone walls and his and hers sinks. Casa de Oso has 6 bedrooms with king beds, including 2 honeymoon-worthy ocean-view master suites, 2 bedrooms with 2 queen beds each, and 2 bedrooms with 2 twin-over-queen bunk beds each with unique staircases.
